PEDESTRIAN FLORIDA STREET
Located in the heart of the city, Florida Street is certainly its most famous pedestrian street. This is an important commercial center which begins at the crossing of Avenida de Mayo (tourist attraction) and has clothing stores, and sales of leather goods, crafts, galleries, record stores, magazine and newspaper kiosks as well as cafes and restaurants. In its extension, are often street performers who entertain visitors with steps of tango, folk themes and living statues. Here you can visit the "Galerias Pacífico", one of the finest shopping malls in the country, with a large central dome covered with murals by Antonio Berni, Lino Spilimbergo, Juan Carlos Castagnino, Demetrio and Manuel Colmeiro Urruchua.
